we've come a long way

I am just amazed at how far we’ve come to get to this point. We spent so long praying that this pregnancy would last and that the baby wouldn’t come too early. Now, here I am at full term and praying that the baby would come soon! It’s more than I could have imagined. I have been having strong contractions for weeks and regular contractions for the past several days, but still not consistent enough to call in. So, today the plan is to go in to the hospital and probably start pitocin to get things moving along more quickly. Since I am no longer a “high risk” patient, we are just waiting for them to call us when they have space available. It has been such a thrill to feel totally relaxed and prepared and ready for the baby to come. I never got to experience natural labor with Liam so it has actually been nice to feel the contractions every day. I am so thankful for that. We are all so excited to meet our baby!
